The date, rough guest numbers, the venue or postcode and the kind of event. Service times, dietary needs and the style you like (food stations, sharing, outdoor cooking or canapés) help too, but we can settle those later.

Send us your date, rough guest numbers and venue and we reply with a tailored quote, valid for 24 hours. A 20% non-refundable deposit secures dates booked at least two months ahead, and bookings within four weeks of the event are paid in full. We take bank transfer, cards, cash and cheque, and companies can pay on invoice.

Summer Saturdays and December evenings go first, often months ahead, so get in touch as soon as you have a date. Weekday and smaller events can often be arranged within a couple of weeks, and we can sometimes help at short notice. Final numbers and details are confirmed four weeks before the event.

Yes. Tastings are available, especially for weddings. They are paid, and the cost comes off your final invoice if you go ahead.

From our kitchen in Chelmsford we cover every town and village in Essex and all 33 London boroughs, and regularly cater in Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Derbyshire, and in Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Winchester. For larger events we travel anywhere in England. Travel is always worked into your quote.
